I did half the work for the client(**Edited for Community Guidelines**) and I am waiting for his response in order to complete the work, but he did not answer me I want to know what to do. Should he finish work and take half of the money, or how do I act?

What is funded in Escrow? All the money? Half the money?
When did you last hear from the client?

because I only worked half of the work
Is there a reason why you aren't completing the work and then submitting the whole thing once it is done? That would be one solution and unless the client specifically said to wait, it's what I would do.
Altrnatively you could submit and while doing so, editing the amount you are requesting to half. If the client stays gone, the funds you requested are released to you after 14 days.

You can try. When you submit the work for payment, just edit the amount.

When will I take half the amount?
When you feel the client has really gone, just go through the "submit for payment" process, editing the amount when you do so. If the client does not react for 14 days, the amount you requested will be released to you.
