Hi Upwork Community,
I’m reaching out because I’ve been facing an ongoing issue with payment reversals on projects that I completed exactly as the client requested. Despite delivering high-quality work that met all the client’s demands, Upwork has reversed some of my payments, stating that I "do not meet the criteria."
I’m struggling to understand what criteria Upwork is referring to, especially since my clients were satisfied with the work, and we didn’t have any disputes. These unexpected reversals are impacting my earnings and confidence in the platform.
If anyone has encountered similar issues or has advice on how to avoid this, I’d appreciate your insights. I’d also like Upwork support to clarify these “criteria” to prevent such issues in the future.

I'd say the reason that Upwork claims is low activity. I had the same issue once. Remember to update your memos every 15-20 minutes, and do not leave your keyboard and mouse idle for more than 5 minutes.

Normally Upwork indicates the reason. Was this an hourly contract?

Yes those were hourly contracts i faced issue 2 times but upwork only says about criteria i almost refunded $200+
