profile name change

how can I change my profile name?  I signed up using my google account and now my profile name is my google name which is not my real name and I am not able to change it. the link provided on the support page is also not working.

Hi Sree,

You can change your profile name by going to Settings > Contact Info and clicking on the pencil icon next to Account.

Now my name change request denied. I can't set my real official name.
Current name is Google display name which is wired.
