hi, i just want to know, if client cancel his contract without paying single $. in case of funded milestone. can he give review if i refund his payment?

There is a difference between these things:

- Can a client leave a review? (or "give" a review?)

- Will a client's review appear on my profile page?

- Will a client's review affect me?

In MOST ALL CASES, if a client closes a contract, then the client will be able to leave a review.

If YOU close a contract, and a client DOES NOTHING, then a client may never leave a review. But if YOU (the freelancer) close a contract, the client is likely to see a notification, and has 2 weeks within which he may leave a review.

If the contract ends with no money having been paid to you, OR if you refund money such that you end up having a net balance of no money from the contract, then it will be impossible for the review to appear on your profile page. It will be as if that contract NEVER existed as far as your work history is concerned.

BUT: That does not eliminate impact on your JSS. Having a zero-pay contract negatively impacts JSS. Feedback from the client can still impact JSS: Both private and public feedback.
