slow messages

Can it be that my computer is so old, win 7, that my app doesn't open anymore the message part of the app? it only opens the time tracker, but not messages, I think the messsage option goes so down on my screen that becomes unclickable. The solution may be the message system in the website but it always is so slow, around ten minutes to open, if client send a message and I've to open the message I'll answer after ten, twenty minutes , is that convenient? I don't think so, Upwork know that the messages system is so slow so they put a couple tip messages while waiting for the system to answer.

Could you please try the troubleshooting steps shared here? Also, please check the browser version you're using, and if there's an option for you to update it, you may want to consider updating it as well. Please let us know if you have any questions.
