how can I switch back to basic? Tried freeelancer pus for 3 month, but not worth paying...

Hi Thorsten L,

Yes you can downgrade to Basic Membership plan anytime you want to. To downgrade all you have to do is:

1. Click the Account menu, select Settings, and then click Memberships & Connects.
2. Click the View or edit membership plan link.
3. Click the Downgrade Membership button.

It's not anytime, you cannot downgrade on the day your billing cycle ends (I learnt it the hard way). For e.g. if your billing cycle is from Jul 3 - Aug 4 and you try to downgrade on Aug 4, you won't be allowed to and you'll get this message.

UpWork doesn't allow to switch to basic plan on the last day of membership.

This is illegal!

You cannot just disable the button!
