The time tracker is absolutely terrible on this site. It rounds down the minutes so that we don't always get paid for all the time spent working on something and it discourages breaks which a lot of times are necessary to keep yourself productive. My suggestion is to talk to your client and tell them about the issues with the tracker and ask if you can keep your own actual minutes and then do an adjustment or add some untracked time at the end of the week to compensate for this. You deserve to be paid for every single minute that you work.

Thank you for your suggestion, I have a ticket opened and if they will not fix it, I will talk with my client to allow me to add the hours manually

Was all your time spent working actively on the device that had the tracker running? Because only time with keyboard and/or mouse activity are counted.

Oh, that's the problem, It wasn't, I had taken pictures coz I'm a
photographer, so that might be the case😁, thank you so much for you
suggestion.

Michael,

Some freelancers have said on this board that adding manual time works well for them.

If you know and trust your client, manual time is often the best solution. But I'd rather pass up working at a project at all if I thought I'd need to use manual time to do the work.

The client never has any obligation to pay a freelancer for manual time booked, even if the client specifically says on the Upwork system that they will "allow" manual time.

Hell, I didn't knew this, thank you for your answer, really appreciate it.
