I have just provided private feedback on the client. However, client's feedback to me shows as N/A. I wasn't able to provide public feedback. Why?

You have nothing to lose by disputing. You can always elect not to pursue to the next step if you're unable to work it out in the dispute process.

For future reference, there is no reason to submit the work to the client through messaging first. The built-in process allows the client 14 days to review the work and request changes, and formally requesting changes prevents auto-approval. That whole system was created specifically so you can submit the work and request payment without needing client feedback first.
