unresponsive fixed price client

I have a completed fixed price contract. It's been 21 days since I first requested payment, but I've had zero response from the client. Why has the money not been released to me from escrow?

you prolly keep clicking the release button or didn't submit it to the milestone

Yup. The client has 14 days to review. You resubmit, they get another 14 days.

some might say making an offical payment request more than once in 2 weeks is to!!!

 

At least you wont make the same mistake again - and the money in escrow IS there for you if the client continues to go silent.

I was all set to respond "Unlike jumping into a platform like this without familiarizing oneself with payment terms and mechanisms," assuming you were a newbie. Then I checked your profile and now I'm SMDH that someone could be that successful here and only now encounter a ghosting client. That's gotta be some kind of record.
