So, Ive been working with a client for about 2 months and then one day *poof* they stopped returning emails and odesk messages. Now Im under contract and out of 12 reports that need to be written for the co tract, I have gotten 4. Now, they have all been done as requested in the time requested, but now Im left with no one but a contract which apparently means nothing.
Has anyone else had this sort of thing happen and what did you do? Should I just move on and say the heck with it?

If client is not responding for more than 3-5 weeks, it might be a good idea to ask customer support to contact them on your behalf. And if there is absolutely no reply, then you can wait for oDesk to automatically close the contract. It will happen after 3 month of inactivity.
