Hi Md Noman,

Let me check on this and we'll follow up with you. Since the screenshot included private information we had to remove it from your post but we got the information we need to investigate this issue.

Hi, I've just made an account at Upwork and I'm in the process of filling my profile. However, when I reach the Expertise Level page, I tried uploading my resume (PDF file, 4 MB) but I receive the message "upload failed", and when I try to add my behance URL I receive "Please provide a valid URL that belongs to behance.net" even if I'm sure the URL is right and working. I've tried changing browsers, but nothing works.

Can someone help me, please?

Any update ? Still can't proceed with completing my profile. looks like upwork needs to hire a freelance developer for rapid turnaround time 🙂

Hi,
have same issues as people around - impossible to upload resume as well as provided linked in URL is not recognized. Please see attached.

Hi Pawel,

Could you please delete the last backslash and try adding it again? If you`re still experiencing the same problem, let me know. Thank you.

I'm blocked from setting up my profile as my valid LinkedIn profile URL is not validating.  My url exactly matches the text box copy.

Hi has anyone else had a problem adding their LinkedIn URL? When I try to add mine to my profile it just keeps saying invalid UR! Even though it's copied directly from my LinkedIn account.

Hi Ben,

Please note that this is a known issue and our engineering team is working to fix it as soon as possible.

Thank you.

I submitted my resume, but manually entered the inforamtion into my profile.  How do I switch out the actual resume I sent to Upwork?  There is an error, and I need to correct it.  What purpose does submitting our resume serve?

Dee

Hi Dineen,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Please note that the information you provided won't be displayed publicly on your profile and is for internal use only.

We’ve heard from new freelancers how difficult it can sometimes be to get started on Upwork. This is more true now as increased numbers of freelancers are reaching out to join Upwork. By collecting additional information, we hope to better match talented freelancers with great clients and projects. For example, our in-house talent specialists may use this information to help connect you with larger clients who pay Upwork to help them find highly skilled talent.

Thank you.

Hi Onyinyechukwu,

Could you please confirm if you`re adding your Linkedin URL with the backslash (/) at the end? If yes, please remove it and try again. If you`re still receiving any errors on your end, let me know. Thank you.

I've confirmed that there's no backslash (/) at the end of the url. Still seeing the error message
