Hi Upwork,

Hi Melissa,
Any portfolio sample linked to your past Upwork contract will have to be approved by your client before it will be displayed publicly. We automatically email the client when a portfolio item has been linked, giving them three days to reject it before the item is published. If your client doesn’t reject it in the time allotted, the item will be publicly linked to a contract in your Work History. You may contact your client directly to request the portfolio item linked to their contract be approved.
Congrats on successfully completing your first job on Upwork!

Hello
My linked project is listed under review but the client has had no contact from UpWork to approve, either in main email or junk folders. Can you update / resend the approval to the client or give specific steps to allow me to do it with the client manually.
Thank you.

Dear Goran
Recently I have finished my project, and added in my potfolio. And it is more than 3 days, so if my client even hasn't seen it should be aproved, am I right?

Hi Kamo,
Yes that is correct. If you have a portfolio item that is pending for more than 3 days, please reach out to me via PM with more details. Thank you.

Thank you,

Dear Nikola,
Recently I have finished my project of Youtube Channel Banner, and added to my portfolio repeatedly. And it is more than 3 days now, but my client is out of upwork because he has no upwork account. How could he thus approve it to my portfolio?

Just stop re-submitting it. After 3 days it gets approved automatically. Don't submit it again. Simply wait.

How did your client hire you without an Upwork account?

You need to stop "repeatedly" adding it. Add it once. Then wait. It will be approved automatically provided the client doesn't object.

What is the Contract is exact the same that we agreeed on and the portfolio details also match and still Client denies to approve?

Hi Keyur,
You can tag the project with relevant skills to help clients find your work more easily. When possible, link it to an Upwork contract. When you do, we’ll automatically email the client when a portfolio item has been linked, giving them three days to reject it before the item will be publicly linked to their history. It would be ideal to let your client if you plan on linking the project.

3 days of time have to accept or disregard the request by mail.
What will happen if the client miss to see the email?

After adjusting my latest project it went under review again, like the first time I published it. I contacted client to see if they have to confirm or do any actions in order to make the project retunring to public but they did not receive any instruction. What's the procedure? Thanks
