Hi Team,
I'm at my utmost dilemna and I'm hoping you could shed some light. So I'm in the process of applying a Car Loan and intuitively I had put in Upwork as my employer. I've explained as well to my bank agent that I'm a freelancer and Upwork is the site where I got my clients and my clients also pay me through Upwork. So now the bank advised me that they will perform a verification with Upwork if im really connected with - upwork.
So now, my question is, does Upwork cater to these types of verification? and if yes, do you happen to have any idea on how long do they usually respond?
Thanks a whole lot!
Clavel

That's very unlikely to go well. The bank will likely contact Upwork's human resources department, which will correctly tell them that you don't work for Upwork.
You don't have an employer. You are self-employed. That requires a different type of income documentation when you are applying for a loan.

Hi Clavel,
Have you provided the "Certificate of Earnings" to your bank?
