I have been hired by two clients recently, but my work history on my profile shows nothing like work in progress.

Look on your "My Jobs" page. Do you see the contracts there?

If not, did you actually get an offer through Upwork Messenger that you accepted? Something that started with <so and so> sent an offer:"?

Hi Arsalan, 

You won't be able to see the project listed under "Work in progress" unless you have received at least one payment from this particular project.

Hi Arsalan,

Your profile will display your contracts as long as at least $1 has been paid on them. Once payments are made on contracts you're referring to, they’ll show there.
