Any advice and feedback

I've been on Upwork for 4 days now, and I subscribed to Upwork Freelancer Plus to get more benefits. Right now, I have 73 connects left, and I'm asking for advice on how I can optimize my profile (if needed) and how I can get my first client. I've sent out 8 proposals since yesterday. Am I being too hasty?

That's not a great profile -- probably not a profile at all. It's more like an advertisement. 

That said, be as hasty as you want to be. That's up to you. There's no limit to how many proposals you send out.

I know from experience that people have a tendency to worry about buying connects. Please do not do that. Buy as many connects as you need. Then buy some more. Pay attention and learn what works. Learn to write great proposal letters. Learn to write great proposal letters very quickly if you must.

Here's the thing. If you opened up a store on Main Street, you would have to pay thousands of dollars each year in rent. You would have to pay for advertising. You would have to pay for utilities. You would have to pay for parking or take a bus to work. You would have to pay for supplies. You would have to pay for cleaning, for a garbage service, for painting the walls.

Here, on Upwork, you have to buy connects. Think of the thousands of thousands of dollars you are saving compared to opening a business on Main Street. 

Then buy more connects. Comparatively, they are very, very, very cheap.
