Hi everyone,
Could you please review my Upwork profile?
I would like to receive some suggestions since I am new to this platform.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it. 😀

Hi Teodor,
I think your profile looks good. Here are a few things I would do to improve it:
1) I recommend removing the emoji (👨🏻💻) and your name from the beginning of your overview/summary. When clients search for freelancers, only the first 200-250 characters of your summary are shown. This means you have very little space (approximately two short sentences) to get their attention. You want clients to see their goals (your services and successes) in this small space--not emojis or names.
Also, I would make a small adjustment to the first two sentences to ensure clients immediately see you services and success. I would remove: "Though I’m new to Upwork" because clients do not care; they only care if you can meet their needs and get results. For example:
As a passionate and dedicated graphic designer, I am always eager to bring fresh and innovative ideas into the world of design. I've worked with over 400 clients over the years, and my enthusiasm for creating beautiful and impactful designs is at the heart of every project I take on. |
The rest of your summary sounds good, and your portfolio, skills, and employment history look good.
2) You may want to add one or two Specialized Profiles that focus on specific graphic design services (e.g., brand identity design, YouTube thumbnail design, etc.) or completely unrelated services. Having a specialized profile can help increase a freelancer's searchability.
3) You should also consider adding a project catalog. The project catalog allows you to setup a pre-packaged service that clients can buy without you sending a proposal. Due to higher than usual requests for project catalogs, reviews and approvals are taking a minimum of 10 business days. Read Get Started With Project Catalog for more information.
Good luck!
