That said, check out other translator, transcriber profiles to research what might be a fair rate for your services. I think the $90 per hour rate might scare people away.
In the first place, you don't necessarily get the rate you post. You negotiate that with each client. But if you post a rate that is way too high, clients think, "Well, I don't pay that much, so I won't hire this person, because I know my low rate will only make them unhappy." People don't want to hire freelancers for work that will automatically make them unhappy. So, if your rate is way too high, basically, you might scare clients away.
