Profile Review and Feeback

Good evening!

I realize my profile hasn't been getting much views in the last 3-4 weeks, and I rarely get any job invitations anymore.

Can I get some insights on what might be causing that, I also realize that when I search I am probably on page 20, which isn't good as Clients will not see my account.

I am a rising talent, I was just wondering when I will get Top Rated Status, as everything it ticked off when I check.

Profile optimization and the correct keyword for searching and ranking would also be helpful. If you can also share examples that would be great.

Thanks for your help.

Colleen,

I have a difficult time reviewing profiles like yours, because the style you choose (is it AI generated?) is not a profile at all. It's an advertisement.

A profile explains who you are and why you believe you are an expert at what you do.

So, a profile would be something like, "I am an expert virtual assistant with _________ years of schooling and work experiences that include ____________, ______________, and _____________. I can help you with _______________, _______________, and __________, so that you can focus your energy on other matters, while I take care of these necessary, time-consuming chores."

The advertising style is all about making lofty promises. "I guarantee 100 percent satisfaction and never make a mistake and always get my work done on time. I can jump 10 feet in the air if you need me to or swim the English Channel ..."

Etc.

These advertising stye write-ups are now all over the place, thanks to AI. The problem is, you just sound like everybody else. Everyone says the same things. With a personal profile, nobody sounds like you, because there's only one you in the world. So, you have to ask yourself: Do I want to sound like everybody or sound like myself?

On the other hand, I've seen profiles like yours that work. So, what I recommend is you stick with it for a few months and see what happens. You can change it any time you like.

I did review your introductory video. I found that to be excellent. Nicely done.

I also noticed you have done only two jobs on Upwork and one of those was pretty unbelievable. Call that person or company up and ask for a permanent job ... that's what I would do.

Good luck. Sorry, I can't be more helpful.
