Profile feed back

Hello everyone,

I'm seeking feedback on my Upwork profile to enhance my visibility and attract potential clients. I specialize in IT with a focus on technical support, and I'm based in Pakistan. Here's the link to my profile: [https://www.upwork.com/freelancers/sgardezi]

I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions from experienced freelancers in the community. Your feedback will be invaluable in helping me optimize my profile and improve my chances of success on Upwork.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise!

Best regards,
Raza

Hello Syed Raza Muhammad,

You can optimize the first part of your main profile overview/summary by removing unnecessary words like "overview" and "greetings." I would also remove the first line: "Experienced IT Technical Support Engineer | Servers and Storage | Hardware Guru."

The same applies to your Tech Support specialized profile: remove the first line and also remove "Hello, and welcome to my profile!"

I recommend removing these because when clients search for freelancers, only the first 200-250 characters of your summary are shown. Since you have very little space to get their attention, you must ensure clients see more of their goals (your services:  diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues...) in this small space. You dont' want to waste space with greetings, headings, or any unnecessary words.

Your portfolio, skills, consultation, certifications, and employment history look great.

You should also consider adding a project catalog. The project catalog allows you to setup a pre-packaged service that clients can buy without you sending a proposal. Due to higher than usual requests for project catalogs, reviews and approvals are taking a minimum of 10 business days. Read Get Started With Project Catalog for more information.

Good luck!
