Freelancers are not supposed to be learning on the job. If you were someone's employee, you could learn on the job. Employers train their employees sometimes. 

But not freelancers. We are expected to be experts. We work independently and have no cause to ask someone to train us. So, when you say you are eager to learn, you are in the wrong labor market. If you are willing and eager to learn, you should be an employee, not a freelancer.
