Required Tech support for my messenger related settings issue.

Hi Community Managers,

I am facing a problem with my Upwork messenger page. It started with a case. A client pinged me and I did not get the intimation. Just lost a job due to that. back to the point. Later when I checked, my messenger page settings it showed

 

"Desktop and Mobile Notifications

Desktop alerts are not enabled on this browser. Click Here to enable desktop alerts "
 
When I tried to enable it by clicking the URL it did not respond. No matter how many time I refreshed the page. It stayed as it is.
I am using a Window's 10 laptop and the browser is Window's Edge.
Tech team please help me enable it. Or else I could loose more jobs due to this.

PS: Got a few more technical issue to report to those are not much important as this one is.

I am sorry to hear that you ran into an issue. This definitely does not sound like the kind of experience I would want to have.

 

May I request that you log an issue with our Support Team so that they can look into this? You may also share the other issues that you ran into with our Support Team so that they can assist you.

I have the same problem with w10 and edge

I am not able to activate desktop alerts

is there a procedure how to solve activation problems?
