ACH payments - dates

Hi, I have my account set up so that I should get paid automatically via ACH on Wednesdays. I received a confirmation from Upwork at 2am this morning (Wednesday) that the payment was initiated. Usually, when this happens, the transaction will show up in my bank account as "pending" (even if I don't have access to the funds yet), but I don't see any record of it. Is it typical to take a couple of days for ACH payments to show up in your bank account, even as a pending transaction?

This is normal.

How long?
Depends on the bank.

Expect between twelve hours to three business days.

For me... 36 hours. But each bank is different.
