Accepted a proposal but it is listed as pending?

Hi guys,

I am a newbie here. I accepted an offer a couple of days ago, but in the heading jobs it says pending, and I am able to "accept" offer again. Is this normal? Is this just because the job hasn't been completed yet?

**It's not shown in the "active" jobs, but I have been messages back and forth with the client. He needs to confirm the job, correct? Before I begin to start working on it?

Congratulations on your first contract. You successfully accepted the offer and your contract is showing as active in Your Contracts, your Client's payment method is verified and Escrow funds are funded for the first milestone.
