Add money to balance

Hello, I'm hiring on upwork.

Is it possible to deposit an amount of money to the account and then use it to pay to freelancers?

Instead of paying each time with credit card (If i need to pay to lots of freelancers I get lots of small charges from my credit card and I prefer to have 1 charge)

You would need to add a billing method to your Upwork account before you hire a freelancer. You can refer to this help page for more information on available billing methods.

Yes I know that, I have a payment method already setup in my account (My credit card)

but I want to deposit 1000$ and use this balance to pay my contracts, instead of charging my credit c ard for each individual payment.

At the moment, we don't have this option. You will be charged for each Fixed price contract you've funded and every Monday you will be charged for the hours your freelancers have tracked in the previous week. If you have any additional questions, let me know. Thank you.
