Adding a certification to Upwork

Given that I'm a newbie and upwork is demanding a certification from me. Now that I don't possess any because the folks for whom I've worked as ghost writer hold all the legal rights for the write-ups and none of them is willing to provide it to me.

What is the way out?

Furthermore, you have granted me very few connects; how do you expect me to attain a job in this manner.
