On the Agency basic plan. Why doesn't Upwork allow me to create my team? It defies the notion of having an agency if you do not have a team to start with?

How can I build my team without paying any monthly fee?

Hi,

To add someone to your team:

1. Click the account menu, choose Settings, then Members & Permissions.
2. Click the Invite a New User button, fill in the form, including choosing roles and permissions.
3. Fill in the form and click the Invite User button.

Hi Rhenzo Sergio,

Basic Agency Membership is meant for one-person agencies. In order to support multiple members, you'll need to upgrade your Membership to Plus.

Ok, that's an agency, I read something about groups, but I can't find anything more or rather I suspect it's not what I'm looking for. On jobs often I could use a designer/ other developers, it'd be nice to just work with the same people. How would I go about that? Or maybe the idea would be to join someone else's, anyway thanks in advance - zak

Hi Zak,

You'd need to find freelancers you'd like to work with and add their profiles under your agency. This way, you'd have an opportunity to work as a team on a contracts after clients hire you as agency contractors individually for their contract.
