Application for Jobs

I have been a freelancer for 7 years before I joined Upwork last year. But I have an issue which bothers me a lot. I have not been getting jobs since I registered. I have changed my profile and edited as much as I could to please my potential recruiters. I have not earned a dime and it hurts me. I have accounts with other freelance platforms but I believe Upwork can give me better value, I'm an African. Is this why I'm not getting jobs here? Kindly help me.

Submitting proposals doesn't always guarantee that you will get hired or get a chance to be interviewed, but you shouldn't give up on sending proposals to potential clients. You may check our Resource Corner and find some excellent topics there:
