Bank account name verification

I have received the follwoing in my account's Get Paid section: "Bank verification in progress

Due to our updated identity policy, at least one of your payment methods has been deactivated as the beneficiary name of the bank account does not match your name.

Here is my problem:
My bank account name does not match my profile name. I want to use Evan Scale (my pen name) since it is easier recognized (people can reach me from social media and other websites i am connected with). My business title is very similar (Evan Scale Creative Studios) but in the bank account only my real name is shown.

 Your Upwork account must be in your real, legal name.

Why would Upwork want clients to connect with you via "social media and other websites you are connected with" so they could get sc*ed out of their fee?

You need to change your Upwork name to your real legal name or you will find yourself removed from the platform.
