Do you support Billing in Indian currency for outsourcing projects to freelancers from India or other Geography?

What is the tax implication if anyone can guide?

Hi Nikhil,

Unfortunately, paying in local currency isn't available for clients based in India at the moment.

Freelancers based in India receive earnings to their Upwork accounts in US dollars and are then able to withdraw them using a payment method of their choice.

You may consult a local tax adviser about the proper way of paying your taxes.
