Black screen shots...on purpose...to protect confidential information

Hello,

I will be sending my freelancer confidential reports to edit, and I would like to be able to use the UpWork app, but if it takes screenshots it will undermine the confidentiality of my clients.  I've seen that there is a bug where the app takes black screen shots - is there a way to do this on purpose so that my freelancer is prtected (in terms of work hours), but that my clients' privacy is also protected?  Other ideas/hacks very welcome.  Thank you!

Liz

Nope but the screenshots are available only to you and to your freelancer. Of course, just as the messages and all the files exchanged via Upwork, the Upwork team has full access...

Hi Liz,

As Rene already pointed out, screenshots can't be blacked out and need to be visible in order for Upwork Hourly Protection to apply.

- Your privacy is already protected. Only the client and freelancer can view screen shots.

- Any hourly job can allow manual time, which entails no screenshots whatsoever

- Fixed-price contracts can be used, which also entail no screenshots
