Can I ask my client's who aren't on UpWork to post jobs?

Hey there. I want to build my Upwork profile and getting that first job is always the hardest. However, I have clients who aren't on Upwork whom I work with.

Am I allowed to ask my clients to make an Upwork account and post a job and them intentionally hire/select me, so I can build my portfolio?

You can share your profile link with your clients so they can hire you directly, no need to post a job!
