Can I change the PayPal account?

Hi there, when I opened my Upwork account for the first time, I've used my mother's PayPal account I wasn't aware of the problem that it can cause.
Now I want to solve this problem, can I change the PayPal account and use mine?
What are the consequences of my error (again my name doesn't match with her PayPal account)?
I'll be extremely grateful if you can help me. I don't want to lose my current Upwork account!

Hi Hind,

That is correct, to use PayPal, you must make sure that your verified name on Upwork matches the name on your PayPal account. You can remove this payment method by going to Settings > Get Paid and click the three-dot button next to the PayPal payment method. And then you can add your verified PayPal account.
