I am looking to get myself clear on the following question. I am aware of the the fact that client have the option to get refund while the job is under process.
Can a client asks for refund post closing the job and giving 5 star rating?

Yes, the client can "ask for a refund" (which is not necessarily the same as a dispute,) whenever they like. If there is no dispute, you can politely tell the client that or if and why you are not willing to refund.
The client can dispute up to 30 days since the last money was released to the freelancer.
In either case it is irrelevant whether the contract is open or closed and what feedback was left.
