Can i change profile verified name?

Can i change my profile verified name because My profile name is adeel ahmad and my id card name is Muhammad Adeel, Now my bank account name will be according to my id card name . Should i I change my profile name or not?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I would like to let you know that your verified name in Upwork must still match the name on your payment account, even though your profile name might be different.

It’s simple to keep your profile name up-to-date, but you do need to follow a few guidelines listed here. You can go to Settings > Contact Info to edit your name.

Yes, you can do that. I have done this in the past, but you must have taken special care of one thing. That's your ID. Bank account holder's name. The profile name should be the same. Otherwise, problems may occur
