Can't Upload Files in Messenger

Hello,

I'm new to Upwork and am working on my first job right now. However,when I try to upload files in the message section to send to my client, nothing comes up in the message box. My file is a word doc and it's not over the size limit. I hit the paper clip, hit 'upload a file", select my file and open and then a seperate box with a green line appears like it's uploading but the file doesn't appear in the message box. Can someone tell me what's going on and how to correct this? My work is due Friday (1/18) but I'm ready to deliver it now. Thank you in advance for any help.

I'm sorry you are having trouble. But Upwork is not a file transfer tool.

Uploading files to Upwork's messenger tool does not always work. Professional freelancers have other options that they use in order to provide high-level service to their clients.
