Can't create a new account after closing my old one using the same email

I've recently created an upwork account but I did a small mistake. I decided to close the account and recreated using the same email but it doesn't work. If anybody can help out, I would appreciate it !

You need to ask CS very nicely to restore your old account, and never do that again.
