I know it's very disappointing when you are new on a platform and you are not able to earn. No doubt you will get frustrated, you can improve your profile by going through the profiles of other members. You can get more creative ideas to increase your profile looks. You have to be patient with the goals you want to achieve.
1. When you submit a proposal make sure you go for the right project.
2. In your proposal tell the client what can you do for them. Give suggestions or show samples(not the same which they are asking for but similar.)
3. Try to be different & unique.
Don't worry you will be hired sooner or later.
