Hi all,
I'm new here and posted a job last week to hire a freelancer. I thought it was going well but things weren't quite going to plan.
I have paid the first milestone but cancelled the contract and the 2nd milestone, freelancer and I mutally agreed to this for a few reasons.
How do I know the 2nd payment won't come out? It's still showing that I have a certain amount left over and remaining which is the cancelled contract amount.
Can I trust that this won't be taken out of my account and paid to the freelancer I've cancelled the contract with?

Hi Desiree,
Thank you for your message. I see that you have already paid the first milestone to the Freelancer and cancelled your second milestone before ending your contract. This said, there will be no further payment taken for the ended contract on your Upwork account.
