Cannot verify my Acc or submit proposals

Hello, Upwork will not let me verify my acc for whatever reason. This is like the 20th obstacle im facing getting started on this website. (Im using the app btw) Its just so annoying, just when I think I can start some work, BOOM. “uH acTuAlLy wE NeEd sOmE iD veRiFicaTioN.” So now the app completely refuses to let me summit proposals and on top of that when I tap “Verify ID,” It does absolutely nothing. The button isn’t functional at all. this app kinda sucks
