Clicked on submit, but don't see it as submitted

Hi all, I'm new here.  I submitted a pretty elaborate proposal, clicked on submit. I got redirected to ID verification and completed that too. Now I can't find it. I'm really upset because it was long and input into the text boxes. I don't know how to retrieve it or confirm that it was submitted

How can I check? What happened? How can I get Upwork to fix this? It's really quite upsetting 😞
