I have started my freelancer career as a copywriter and social media marketer and I get clients from my network, can I invite them to rate my Upwork profile? Although I have completed their projects outside Upwork.

You can ask anybody to rate your profile. If you are talking about reviews, they only come from prior jobs on upwork, or from testimonials from former clients that are on LinkedIn. But those are about your work, not your profile.

Yes, you can edit your profile and use the "Testimonials" feature. If I'm not mistaken it is meant specifically for these situations. You fill a form with your client details, and they will ask that person for a testimonial of your work outside Upwork. The testimonial will show on your profile.

These are not reviews, they do not affect your JSS, but it may help building a more complete profile that may be more attractive to future potential clients.

How do you leave feedback for a freelancer when the contract was closed. The client has been away for a few weeks and has now tried to leave feedback for the freelancer and is getting the message that feedback can no longer be modified on the job?
