Client keeping escrow money less than proposed, but saying will release the entire at the end.

Client keeping escrow money less than proposed, but said will release the entire amount at the end of the contract.

Eg, we proposed 80$, the client agreed to it, but keeping escrow money in the contract only 10$, saying will release the payment once all work done.

Shall I accept the proposal, is it safe? shall I take any other precautions?

Thanks

Don't let this client disrespect you.

You need to specify a task, and the cost for that task. And the client needs to fund an escrow payment fully for that task.

A promise to pay you at the end is irrelevant.

If your fee for doing "Task X" is $80, then the client fiunds an escrow payment for $80, and then you do the task and submit it. And then the client releases the $80 payment to you.
