Hi guys I want to ask if connects will automatically return to me if the client didn't hire me?.

And whats the difference between Milestone and By Project?

No you won’t get connects automatically. Upwork is beta testing a new feature returning connects if there is no activity on the post for 30 days but only for jobs with a blue button.

By projects means you get the total budget in one payment and by milestone means the budget is divided into stages.
