Contract between client and freelancer

Hi everyone,

I have been working as a freelancer throug Upwork for a few month. Recently a kind German lady contacted me to translate a children's song for her. Unfortunately she is struggling to create a contract (fixed price) for me, since her English is limited. She created a proposal to which I answered but she does not seem to figure out how to create an actual contract on her end. Would there be an easy step-by-step instruction I can translate for her, in order to create a simple fixed, not hourly, contract?

Or is there a way I can send her a contact with the terms? This may be a silly question, but I just cannot seem to figure this out, nor does she 😄

Thank you very much for the support.

Sunny regards,

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

In order to hire you for the first time, your client will need to send you an offer. Here's a help article with instructions on how to do that. After you've already established a working relationship, you'll be able to propose a new contract for any further work.

Thanks!
