Credit Card was charged more than inteded

i recently started a project with a designer for $150 but my credit card was charged $73.00 more than i agreed..

Why?

I looked into this and do not see any charge greater than $150 on your Transactions page. Could you please confirm the Reference ID of the transaction you are referring to so that I can check this for you? 

Please also know that all rates posted on the Upwork website are in U.S. dollars. However, clients in certain locations will be charged in their local currency. You may read more about it here. As such, I would like to confirm that the $150 noted on your contract is in U.S. dollars. Please let me know if this has caused confusion on your end.
