Dear... huh?

So... I have seen job posts that starts with "Dear  [Name], I am looking..." 

Is this a bug in Upwork or is the employer looking for a specific person but made a mistake in job posting? Should I apply with job postings like these? Thank you very much

Hi Riner, I believe this is because some freelancers ask the clients to make a separate contract for each item of the project requirements instead of using the milestone option. Maybe to get more feedbacks or increase the number of jobs, I am not sure. But If you were you I wouldn't waste my connects on these kinds of jobs.
