Dividing Milestones as sub Projects?

Hi. I don't really understand how the Milestones work in fixed-price projects. There is always this category to select whether you prefer Milestone or Get paid once the full project is done. I usually always go for the last one, but lately when I browsed more job offers I'm having second thoughts whether I'm doing the right thing. I noticed that some posted jobs are divided as sub Projects. For example, one client said he would need 10 videos on a fixed price, which was an acceptable price. But I don't see myself or anyone working on 10 videos for months and get paid all at once in the end. So I was wondering, is it allowed to divide Milestones as sub Projects, or do Milestones work only for one single project that has many bases to build until the final work is done? I'm sorry if my question is confusing, but I don't understand the rules of the Milestone option. Thank you.

Yes, diving a project in multiple milestones is allowed and it is not a violation of our TOS. I would recommend to communicate with your clients about the structure of your contracts.
