Do I have to use my legal name, or can I use my preferred name?

As of now, I still have my birth name as my legal name. Do I have to wait until my legal name is changed to use my preferred name "Lemmy"?

If you are in the process of changing your legal name, you can add a current legal name and request a name change when your legal name is changed.
