I am new to UpWork and still learning how it works. I've uploaded a bunch of videos into my profile, but they won't actually play. Instead, it looks like the 'client' is supposed to download each file to view it. Is that seriously the only option? I'm hoping that I'm missing something and this issue can be easily resolved.

Without your profile being public it's hard to tell, but it's likely a browser setting that's keeping you from playing the embedded version on the page.
Have you tried a different browser?

I just checked your account and I can see that the videos you are referring to are in your portfolio. Unfortunately, you can't play the videos included in your portfolio. It needs to be downloaded first in order to be played. However, you can add a video under your Profile Overview which can be played when clients visit your profile. You may follow the instructions given in this link to help you upload a Video Overview to your profile. Thank you!
