Do video profiles help?

Hi guys -- I'm considering uploading a video introduction, but before I do I thought I'd ask if anyone has found that they actually help. Has anyone got any before/after experience? Also, is there a chance that upwork favours profiles with video introductions in seach results?

Hi Marina, I believe it is difficult to get the satisfactory answer that you are looking for because each one has a different result and experience. Also, Upwork's algorithm is hard to be predicted.

But I think that adding a professional video introduction will increase the probability of captivating the clients' attention to check your profile. 

I believe it is a plus to add a video introduction, and if I am wrong, I think it will never harm anybody as long as it was done with appropriate quality.
